Project Overview
Uihlien Electric is proud to highlight our recent work supporting the Milwaukee Winter Club’s indoor skate rink at the Village of Brown Deer Community Square. This project required precise planning, technical expertise, and seamless execution to ensure a reliable and efficient setup for their winter skating operations.
Scope of Work
600 Amp 480v Service Installation
Our team installed a new 600-amp 480v electrical service to power the critical components of the skate rink setup. This installation is the backbone of the rink’s electrical system, ensuring a consistent energy supply.
45 KVA Transformer for Lighting and Exits
We added a 45 KVA transformer to support the facility’s 120v lighting and exit systems. This ensures safe and well-lit areas for skaters and visitors, adhering to necessary standards.
Supporting Equipment
The rink operation involves leasing a 100-ton chiller and a party tent. We coordinated with Steve’s Trenching Service to power these for directional boring, which allows for clean and efficient underground feeds.
Ice Making Complete
Uihlien Electric’s efforts have successfully powered the equipment needed for ice creation. The rink is ready, and practices began on Friday, November 22, 2024.
Skilled Team Execution
This project came together thanks to the expertise of our team. Special recognition goes to journeyman electricians Tim Robbins and Bob Kaschak, who took charge of the wiring and ensured everything was completed to the highest standards.
Celebrating Success
We’re proud to be part of a project that brings skating to the community. This installation reflects Uihlien Electric’s commitment to quality and reliability in every task we undertake.
